In what can be termed a bizarre scene, scores of Andhra Pradesh tribal women, southern India, were seen performing the annual festival of Ekadashi. This ritual have been performed for generations.
Women who have been looking for the fruit of the womb for a very long time always perform this annual ritual. It is their belief that they will conceive after ‘God-men’ trample on them.
These women lie down (face down), then these ‘God-men’ will start trampling on them like foot marsh. Whether or not this bizarre ritual actually works is left for those who have undergone this ritual to tell. But there are however claims that the ritual actually works.
